"Authenticity and the Analog" interrogates the poor image as a reflection of the past. Modern publics tend not to question pre-digital photography, seeing it as the embodiment of ‘neutral’ documentation free from virtual alteration and other tools of distortion. By reproducing found images through the process of lumen printing -- resulting in bright, monochromatic imagery -- the work confronts viewers with its fraud.
